You may want to get out of town fast if you're a frequent traveler.  Advantage Car Rental offers the Advantage Easy ID. They give you this card the first time you rent a car. With the Advantage program, you earn points when booking your car online or at a car rental agent's office. Budget car rental's loyalty program is called Budget Fastbreak and allows the customer to bypass any lines at airports using their Fastbreak Center. When your license number is scanned at the Fastbreak counter, all your information is filled in for you, and your rental car will be waiting for you outside. To help you find out where you're going, most car rental companies offer maps in the storefront and even in the car, that you can take with you.  If any specific directions are needed, any  car rental representative can help you. All maps for rental customers are also free at Budget, Avis & Hertz. You'll find these maps in the local and main offices and all the airports that they operate out of. The Budget customer care agent at the designated pick up location handles any specific driving directions.

Car Delivered To You:  Advantage Car Rental has a program where they can pick up a customer within a five-mile radius and takes them to their car in some areas. (However, they will not drop a rental car off to the customer ar certain locations.) Advantage rents cars is only in the Southwestern states and other specific areas around the world. This is a case of having to do your homework to see if you qualify. Budget Car Rental also has a five-mile radius for pick up and drop off. This zone is only at certain locations and certain major cities but not at airports. Budget and Advantage must have collaborated on this one. Check out your options with the company before you rent, if this is important to you.

Safety First For Your Little Ones:  Most Car Rental companies will rent car seats for a small fee with your car rental.  Typically they only require you to have the child's age to ensure you get a properly fitted car seat. This may be a required add-on if the state you're renting in has a child car seat law and the car rental company knows you're carrying children. Budget Car Rental has three sizes of car seats for a daily or weekly fee. The car seat may be picked up with your car rental with a twenty-four hour notice.

Disabled Customers Welcomed: Advantage Rent a Car has vehicles equipped with hand controls for people with a disability but who are still able to drive. It takes a two or three day lead time on your reservation in major population areas and even longer in small towns. But they do have them. Budget Car Rental also has hand-controlled vehicles. They claim they can have the specially equipped cars for you with 24 hours notice.

When it comes to a car rental from Budget, Advantage or any other car rental company, always check first with any clubs (like AAA) or associations you belong to and see if they are given a discount for any car rental places in the area you're travelling in. And while you're at it, check up on their customer service record with people you know who have used them before.
